providing support and services for adults with intellectual and developmental
disabilities (I/DD) and their families throughout northeast Louisiana since
1954. Our mission is to empower individuals with I/DD to lead fulfilling and
independent lives through our supported living services, vocational services,
and community ventures services. We recognize our participants can learn and
enjoy growing their skills and knowledge. When provided the correct supports in
their overall day-to-day needs, functions, and activities they can live their

HIRING
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field of study
· Two years HR experience preferred
· Recruiting, training, and payroll experience is a plus

SUMMARY
The Human Resources (HR) Assistant
provides direct clerical and organizational support to the Human Resource
Director. The HR Assistant is the primary recruiter: including maintaining an
open job log, posting and maintaining job postings on Ninja Gig, maintaining an
applicant log, reviewing applications, interviewing and communicating with
applicants, scheduling interviews with managers, collecting all related
applicant documents and completing the on-boarding process.
The HR Assistant processes a biweekly
payroll and maintains personnel files by working with the Human Resource
Director to ensure compliance.
