Manage the broad functions of the Community
Ventures program within the vocational department and assures that group
leaders attend to the details of program operations. This manager assesses the overall support
needs of persons with developmental disabilities, especially developmental
disability, residing in the parish and responds with inclusive programs for community
supports which promote self-determination, choice, and self-reliance. The CV Manager designs programs, seeks
funding to address these, develops policy and works with group leaders and
staff to develop procedures which meet the identified needs. The CV Manager evaluates the effectiveness of
the programs and directs departmental activities accordingly. The CV Manager assures that the mission and
policies of the agency and the department are met and manages Community
Ventures staff accordingly.
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· High School diploma with some college or relevant experience considered

programs, and overall system.
